Called the # today. Told the lady who called that I suspected they were connected to the annoying card services calls that I had been getting inundated with. She didn’t deny it – only asked if I would like to be placed on their do not call list. I informed her I would. Verified my phone #. She stated the manager would be there Monday to update the list. I spoke in my harshest, meanest, growling voice and informed the jackass that we were on the Do-Not-Call list and to never call us again. I'm sure we will receive more calls in the future. They're using an auto-dialer that cares less about unhappy people. What does it take for the government to do something about this den of thieves? I couldn't even finish it, although I managed to read at least half of it. I don't know if it was revolutionary at the time or what, but if you take just the book alone, it sucks. It is boring as hell and it could be much, much shorter without losing anything. It could be easily contracted to something like this: Phonies are all around, and it sucks. While I don't entirely disagree with the idea, I don't feel like reading about a random delinquent doing nothing in NYC either. It is nice to see I’m not alone here.
